Let’s Make It Official

Posted by Brian Stucki

I think we’ve tallied all donations, got a good idea of the head count, and bargained a nice deal with Angel Park. So now let’s make it official.

The reunion will be on July 19th from 6:30 to 10:30pm. Dinner will be served at 7pm. It will be held at the Angel Park Clubhouse.

Below you’ll find a link to officially reserve and pay for your spot at the reunion. A few things to mention:

  • With the donations that were so nicely given, we were able to get the price down to $35.00/person. The price includes your dinner. (To give you an idea, I believe the 1997 class reunion was about $100/person.)
  • We do have a limit on how many people can reserve. Be sure to grab your spot early. My guess is that we’ll be filled up long before the reunion happens.
  • We’ll be having a barbecue/family activity in the park for families earlier on in the day. This is at no extra cost to you as it will be covered by donations. We’ll get a head count for the barbecue at a later time

When we graduated, we left about $3,500 in our senior class account. We tried to buy a new sound system for the gym as a gift to future classes, but Ms Corrado told us that we couldn’t. We then asked if we could put it in a fund for our ten year reunion and she again denied saying that we’ll have surely forgotten about it by then. That seems like just yesterday. I wonder how that money was used.

I think we’re setting up for a real fun night of dancing and socializing. There have been a lot of people helping to make this a great night.

To reserve your spots, just list the names that should be on the guest list and press the “Pay Now” button. Be sure to select for two tickets on the checkout page if you’ll be bringing a guest. You can either use Paypal or a major credit card.

Please List Guest Name(s)

To keep up with the reunion plans, you may want to subscribe to the RSS feed or sign up for email updates. See you soon!

Brian, Is there a way to see who has made payment and reserved their spot? If not it would be a fun way to be able to see who is going to be there! Plus, any info on decor that Stephanie and I can work on or are we not going to do that? I never heard back from you…

Christina, I’ll definitely get a guest list posted as people sign up. (Perhaps we’ll also be able to get link/pictures posted so we can see what others have been up to.)

I saw your email about decorations. I thought I wrote back, but I’ll send another email this morning just in case.

So …. There is a dinner at nite and then during the day there is a bbque? If I read it right what time is the bbque?

  4. Brian Stucki on June 13th, 2008 8:15 am

Dawn-Marie, that’s correct. A lot of people wanted a chance to meet families so there will be a barbecue at a local park during the day for anyone who wants to bring kids, or even just hand out in a more casual setting.

The barbecue will be early afternoon. We’ll be sure to give plenty of details later.

In the evening is the reunion with no kids and a more dressy setting. This is where the dinner and dancing will be as well as the raffle.

    Brian,
If there are any Spartans that need to rent a car (if they are coming from out of state), I have a friend that could hook us up with a group rate..so just putting it out there!

Is there a way I can go somewhere to pay instead of paying online?

Amy, send me a note with the contact page and I’ll give you an address to send a check.

Hey Brian, I’m about to sign up for the reunion. I assume the payment method is nice and secure?

  11. Brian Stucki on June 26th, 2008 9:20 am

@CST - Yes, you’re safe paying. It’s all done thru Paypal. The page is protected with an SSL certificate and I don’t see any of the CC numbers either. I just get sent the receipt so I know you paid and that I can add you to the list.
